It’s a sobering fact that thousands of Delaware’s elderly parents suffer from hunger.

Many have to make choices between things like buying prescription drugs or groceries. Others are homebound with nobody to help them shop for or prepare meals.

Meals On Wheels ensures that these seniors have a hot, nutritious meal delivered to their doorstep each day by a cheerful volunteer.

It brightens up their days, especially on ones like Mother’s or Father’s Day.
