Father’s Day 2023
There is nothing like the feeling of love from a parent. Whether they bake your favorite treats or teach you how to ride a bike, they are the ones you can count on to provide you with caring support and comfort from your childhood days through adulthood.
But the reality is when some parents become seniors, health or financial issues leave them little choice but to turn back to us for that same caring and comfort.
Meals On Wheels is meeting the growing needs of seniors in Delaware. Devoted volunteers help provide not only a hot, nutritious meal every day, but also a friendly face and a warm smile at their doorstep.
Hopefully it conjures up those warm feelings of comfort our fathers gave us as children.
