We spend so much of our lives waiting for food.

In the grocery store, on the concession line, at restaurants while others are waiting on us. . . chances are we’ve all felt that anxiety that comes with “waiting” at one time or another.

But for thousands of seniors in our state, that anxiety is felt every single day, as they wait in their homes for someone to bring them a meal.

When caring family members and neighbors can no longer help outon a daily basis, Meals On Wheels DE can provide these seniors with a warm, comforting and nutritional meal. . . and that knock on the door also brings them a sense of hope and a feeling that someone out there truly cares.

Together we can end senior hunger.
