Volunteer information for Celebrity Chefs’ Brunch, 2024

The success of our fundraisers is due to the dedication of wonderful volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities: Times available Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21
1.  Sign up for two hours to assist with setup of our fundraising events.
2.  Sign up for two hours during the event to help manage the logistics.
3.  Join an event planning committee.

Set Up Volunteers: Saturday, April 20, from 10-2
Volunteers help by setting up the chef stations (paper products, equipment, etc.); setting up the auction; registration; signage and more.  Volunteers are offered a ticket to the event as a thank-you for donating their time.

Event Volunteers: Sunday, April 21 – Shifts begin at 8 AM and run until 4
Volunteers assist by managing the auction, greeters, and selling tickets. Volunteers are asked to volunteer for a minimum of two hours and are then able to enjoy the rest of the event.

Planning Committee:
The planning committee is responsible for all aspects of the event’s success. The Committee oversees all logistics, volunteers, traffic flow and patterns of attendees, equipment, security requirements, flowers and decorations, music, and any additional event needs.  Committees meet once a month for about 9 months to strategize the event details.  The committee recruits chefs, plans the auction, secures sponsorship support, promotes the events via social media, and leverages their relationships to add value and fresh perspectives to the events.  The committees typically have about 10-15 members from the community.
