Every attempt will be made to split ages into brackets of more than six teams\, but in the event that this cannot be done fairly to all players\, we reserve the right to create smaller brackets. \n \nSherylz Food Truck will be on site for purchasing lunch and snacks throughout the day. \nAdditional details are available via the registration page. \nWhether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game\, this event is all about fun and community! \nNot playing? No problem! We’re also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make the day a smashing success. \nGrab your paddle\, invite your friends\, and let’s make this a day to remember!

SUMMARY:Father's Day
DESCRIPTION:Donate Today \nAs children\, our parents gave us the gift of comfort…But now as they’ ve grown older\, the tables have turned.\nThroughout our lives many of us have given our parents thoughtful gifts on Mother’s and Father’s Day to show our appreciation for always supporting us and making us feel secure and comforted in times of need. But for some moms and dads\, the tables have turned\, and they are the ones who need to be comforted. \nFor these seniors\, the most meaningful gifts are showing you care by helping them shop for groceries or preparing their meals. But often\, elderly homebound seniors have no one to do that for them. \nThat’s where Meals On Wheels steps up – to ensure these seniors have a reliable way to receive nourishment and never go hungry. Dedicated volunteers bring warm\, nutritious meals to their doorstep every day\, along with a friendly smile. All this would not be possible without the generous support of donors like you. \nThis Mother’s and Father’s Day\, let’s help provide the gift of nourishment to the moms and dads who need us now. \nDonate Today

SUMMARY:Father's Day 2023
DESCRIPTION:Donate Today \n  \nThere is nothing like the feeling of love from a parent. Whether they bake your favorite treats or teach you how to ride a bike\, they are the ones you can count on to provide you with caring support and comfort from your childhood days through adulthood. \nBut the reality is when some parents become seniors\, health or financial issues leave them little choice but to turn back to us for that same caring and comfort. \nMeals On Wheels is meeting the growing needs of seniors in Delaware. Devoted volunteers help provide not only a hot\, nutritious meal every day\, but also a friendly face and a warm smile at their doorstep. \nHopefully it conjures up those warm feelings of comfort our fathers gave us as children. \nIn honor of Father’s Day your generous donation will help provide meals and comfort to those who need it now. \nDonate Today \n

\nHopefully it conjures up those warm feelings of comfort our moms gave us as children. \nIn honor of Mother’s Day your generous donation will help provide meals and comfort to those who need it now. \nDonate Today \n

While Bouche d’Or may be sweet\, it is balanced with bright acidity and crispness. This wine can stand on its own as a dessert wine and also makes a great accompaniment to a cheese course. Hard\, salty cheeses like Manchego and aged Gouda pair quite successfully. Less-sweet desserts like lemon meringue tart\, grilled peaches or apple galette are also excellent choices. The lush vibrant palate is incredibly versatile and hypnotizing. \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOCKTAIL \nLavender Lemonade\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFIRST COURSE \nSouth African Sauvignon Blanc \nA new world style of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine has intense aromas of gooseberries\, tropical fruit and sweet-grapefruit with a core of minerality. The excellent natural acidity creates balance to the concentrated\, rich mouth-filling texture. Post fermentation lees contact of 4 months\, stirred up once a week to enhance mouthfeel and concentration. The wine is bottled unfiltered and sediment may occur. This wine has too many awards to list and is not imported into the US. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nSECOND COURSE \nElton Vineyard Pinot Noir \nThe bouquet opens with notes of mixed red and black fruits\, earth and barrel spice. On the palate the wine expresses beautiful movement and dark fruit flavors of blackberry\, currant and plum accented by minerality\, cedar\, anise and bergamot. This wine has aromas of fresh lemon\, lime merengue and banana cream pie. The palate is balanced with good acid and flavors of marshmallow fluff and stone fruit. Three months of lees aging gives this wine a nice structured finish that is not found in most Unoaked Chardonnays \n2017 Claret \nThe 2017 Claret is a true Bordeaux blend using Cabernet Sauvignon\, Merlot\, Malbec\, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This wine has aromas of Rainier Cherries\, blueberry jam and strawberry smoothie. The palate is clean with excellent acidity and medium tannins. More strawberry fruit and hints of white pepper lead to a fresh fruit forward finish with balanced acidity. \n2016 Ezio Cabernet Sauvignon \nThe 2016 “Ezio” Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas dark black fruit\, brambleberry\, cherry cola and cocoa powder. The palate has bright cherry acid\, it is intense and well-integrated oak. Layers of fruit with rhubarb\, blackberry\, brambleberry\, with mocha and hazelnut. The medium plus finish has a pleasant touch of lingering oak.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFirst Course \nBarrel Fermented Chardonnay \nFermented and aged in French oak for six months. Medium body with pomegranate and black pepper on the palate. Complex finish. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nVance Kershner\n\nDessert \nDe Krans Cape Vintage Reserve\, 2015 Port Blend \nThe 2015 Cape Vintage Reserve received an excellent rating of 96 points and was judged the Best Overall Fortified Wine of the Year in South Africa. Tim Atkin\, who tasted over 1700 South African wines describes it as “Rich\, dense and hedonistically perfumed. It’s dark\, plush and very sweet with beautifully judged tannins and rich bramble and blueberry fruit. Drink between 2025 and 2040. This wine has too many awards and medals to mention. This is a small production wine and has very limited distribution in the United States.\n\n\n\n  \n\n  \n\nMarquee Sponsor\n \n\nVirtual Sponsor\n \n\nLead Sponsor\n Vance Kershner \n\nMarquee Communications Sponsors\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\nVineyard Connoisseur\n\n\n\n\nDr. Jonathan & Cara Burke\n\n\nYoung Conaway Stargatt & Taylor\, LLP\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGrand Wine Master\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVaughn and Heather Hardin\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\nMaster Sommelier\n\n\n\n\nDonati Family Vineyard\n\n\nInnovative Hospitality Solutions\, Inc.\n\n\n\n\n\nWine Collector\n\n\n\nAshton Pools by Design\nDan and Kathy Dugan\nBill & Helen Stimson\n\n\nAdam Chesia “The Wine Guy”\nPat & Greg Schulze\n\n\n\n\n\nWine Enthusiast\n\n\n\nDale and Todd Cochran\nKeen Compressed Gas Co.\nCharles S.
